Directions to Falmouth
Due to the popularity of the race, there will be heavy
traffic coming into Falmouth on Race Weekend. If you plan
to come in the night before or the morning of the race, it
is imperative that you allow yourself plenty of extra time.
Please be aware of these issues and either schedule
accordingly or be prepared to sit in traffic.

From Boston to Race Headquarters
- Going out of the Airport: Follow signs for Ted Williams Tunnel
- Go through the Ted Wiliiams Tunnel Toll Booth ($3.00) and proceed toward I-93.
- Take Exit 24 toward I-93 South, exit in on the left side.
- Coming out of Boston you are on the Southeast Expressway heading towards the South Shore.
- At the first major split - go right heading for Rte. 24 South (Brockton) and Rte. 95.
- About three miles later take left exit for Route 24 South & 495 (Brockton - Fall River).
- Follow Route 24 (15-18 miles) to Route I-495 (South - Cape Cod)
- Stay on I-495 for about 20-25 miles until you come to the Bourne Bridge.
- Go over the bridge.
- Enter the rotary at the end of the bridge and go out the other side getting onto Route 28 - "Falmouth and the Islands."
- Follow Route 28 into Falmouth.
- When you come to a traffic light (your first light since the bridge) turn left onto Jones Road.
- Take Jones Road about 3/4 of a mile to the first traffic light. Turn right at this light onto Gifford Street.
- Take Gifford Street about 1/2 mile to the end and turn left onto Main Street (Route 28).
- Follow Main Street about 1/2 mile to the Gus Canty Recreation Center on the left, 790 Main Street, just after the police station.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike to Race Headquarters
- Mass. Pike (East or West) to I-495 Exit
- Keep right at the fork in the ramp
- Merge onto I-495 South
- After about 58 miles, I-495 becomes 25 E
- Go over the Bourne Bridge
- Enter the rotary at the end of the bridge and go out the other side, getting onto Route 28 - "Falmouth and the Islands."
- Follow Route 28 into Falmouth.
- When you come to a traffic light (your first light since the bridge) turn left onto Jones Road.
- Take Jones Road about 3/4 of a mile to the first traffic light. Turn right at this light onto Gifford Street.
- Take Gifford Street about 1/2 mile to the end and turn left onto Main Street (Route 28).
- Follow Main Street about 1/2 mile to the Gus Canty Recreation Center on the left, 790 Main Street, just after the police station.
From Providence, R.I.
- From T.F. Green Airport:
- Exit the airport and get onto I-95 North (Providence)
- 3-4 miles up I-95 bear right onto Route I-195 (Cape Cod)
- Follow I-195 to the end of the road (40 miles), and follow signs for Falmouth - Bourne Bridge.
- Go over the bridge.
- Enter the rotary at the end of the bridge and go out the other side, getting onto Route 28 - "Falmouth and the Islands."
- Follow Route 28 into Falmouth.
- When you come to a traffic light (your first light since the bridge) turn left onto Jones Road.
- Take Jones Road about 3/4 of a mile to the first traffic light. Turn right at this light onto Gifford Street.
- Take Gifford Street about 1/2 mile to the end and turn left onto Main Street (Route 28).

From Mid-Cape and Down-Cape
- Route 28 South will take you into Falmouth. The race headquarters is on Route 28 at the Gus Canty Recreation Center,
790 Main Street, on the right, shortly after the Christmas Tree Shop Plaza.
