Win a Free Trip to the 2008 CIGNA Falmouth Road Race
PHILADELPHIA, January 30, 2008 - Runners are always in a race against time – it’s the nature of the sport. While the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race is still seven months away, the chance to win an all-expense-paid trip for two (valued up to $5,000) to the world-renowned race will end in less than a month.
In December, CIGNA announced an essay contest – the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race Challenge – and invited individuals who currently have, or have overcome, a life-altering disability or illness to share their personal stories of triumph and why they want to race in Falmouth, Mass., on Aug. 10. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Feb. 29 at 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
“This contest is strongly aligned with our overall mission of improving the health, well-being and security of individuals,” said Karen Rohan, president of CIGNA Group, Dental and Vision Care. “We are very excited at the opportunity to help someone meet his or her personal goal of racing in a world-class event such as the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race.”
The contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older. Contest details, official rules and entry forms are available at www.cigna.com/falmouthroadrace.
The winner will be announced on or about April 30.
