FALMOUTH, Mass. (February 23, 2010) - Rockland Trust has signed on to be Platinum Sponsor and the Official Bank of the CIGNA Falmouth Road Race for the 2010 and 2011 races, it was announced today. The race was established in 1973 and annually attracts a world-class field of elite runners, plus thousands of recreational runners from across the country and the world. The event is also a fundraising vehicle for many non-profit groups, who have raised millions of dollars for both national and local Cape Cod charities over the years. This year's race will be held on Sunday, August 15, in Falmouth.
