SANCTIONED BY USA TRACK AND FIELD: Registration to become a member of USA Track and Field for New England athletes is encouraged and may be accomplished by contacting: USATF-New England, Box 1905, Brookline, MA 02146-0016, (617) 566-7600. Athletes from other areas may contact their local USATF office.
Please note: This is not a walking event. You should be able to reach the finish line by 11:15am, or finish within a timeframe of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
ENTRY FEES FOR ACCEPTED RUNNERS are not refundable for any reason, including if the race is postponed or cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of the race. The race reserves the right to reject any application. Numbers are non-transferable and we do not offer deferral to the following year.
OFFICIAL RACE MERCHANDISE will be available at the New Balance booth at the Health & Fitness Expo.
MINIMUM AGE for participants is seven years old on the day of the race.
2015 RACE NUMBER PICK-UP: The New Balance Falmouth Road Race does not mail runner numbers.

START: Falmouth uses a Pulse Start system. The first two pulse starts begin at 9AM. At 9:04 the third pulse is released. At 9:10 the fourth pulse starts. At 9:15 the fifth pulse starts. Then at 9:20 the sixth pulse starts. Wheelchair division race start is at 8:40AM and elite women start at 8:50AM.
LODGING IN FALMOUTH: Race weekend is the busiest weekend of the year for local hotels, inns and restaurants and we suggest that you book your hotel rooms immediately if you haven't already. Contact the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce at (508) 548-8500 or visit them on the web.
AGE-GROUP AWARDS: These will not be announced at the awards ceremony, but will be given to the winners at the Awards Party at the Coonamessett Inn in mid-late September, after the results have been verified; this process may take 1-2 weeks. Awards will be sent to males and females in the following categories: 7-14 years; 15-18 years; 50-59 years; 60-69 years; 70-74 years; 75-79 and 80+. Year-round Falmouth residents will receive awards as follows: 7-14 years; 15-18 years; 19-39 years; 40-49 years; 50-59; 60-69; 70-74; 75-79 and 80+. Age-group awards will be based on tag-time. Please note: The official time for all runners in the first start will be “gun” time.
Baby strollers or roller blades are prohibited and could result in disqualification.
Bicycles and hand cycles are not allowed on the course during the race.
Ear-buds and headphones are discouraged for safety and as a courtesy to your fellow runners.
